Olivia's Competiton or New Dance Partner?

That Thong, Thong, Thong, Thong, Thong

This morning I was a little hesitant to get out of bed because I was so comfy, but I finally got up and decided I better go to the gym since it had practically been three weeks. Anyway, in the middle of my class nature called. You can't have two kids, jump around, and still be the same! Anyone? Anyone? Anyway, as I was doing what had to be done (#1, sorry, I didn't want you to think otherwise) I noticed the tag on my G-string was in a weird place. I looked closer, and I had put it on sideways! How the heck can you tell anyway if there wasn't a stupid tag! I had a good laugh at myself and went back to class. Yes, I know. I am the only one who would post something like this, but it seemed pretty funny to me. My friend, Mel, had a good laugh too. Is it really worth it to not having pantie lines? Yes. The answer is yes.

Girly Girls

So I was thinking about how I live in Utah, and pretty much all of you don't. Then I was thinking how when you talk about your friends I pretty much know who they are or kinda what they look like. Anyway, if I don't know them I always think it would be fun to know what they look like. So THEN I thought, maybe I should show you what some of my best buddies look like! So here they are!!! My lovely friend Lisa is on the left. She is almost newly single, so if you know any hot single guys in their 30's let me know! Next is Melanie. She is the toughest chick I know. She is a firefighter and a mother of four. The last two being the most gorgeous identical twins I've ever seen. Next, well. That goes with out saying. After me is Stephanie. She came to my door a few days after we moved in with out a bra on and hadn't brushed her teeth yet just to invite me to the mall later that day. We have been friends ever since. She wasn't happy to take the picture because she is 8 months pregnant. There wasn't much I could do since she is always either pregnant or getting pregnant! Just kidding Steph! She is having her fourth girl!!! Last, but definitely not least, is Katie. She is one of the kindest and most stylish people I know. She would bend over backwards for a stranger and knows how to throw a real party. What a gal! Anywho, these are some of my favorite people to hang out with. We have a blast together!

Not here, or here so much, but right here!

OOOWWWIIIEEE! Olivia had a rough day today! It all started when we had to leave right after the sacrament was passed because she was NOT cooperating! Turns out all she wanted was her big brother who had to stay home because he had a cough. Anyway, between one of all the super needy moments today, she was happily watching Spencer tackle her soft Cinderella chair. Olivia thought it looked like fun and gave it a try. She rolled right off to the side and smacked her little noggin on the corner of a shelf. Oooooo! She had a good cry, I took some pics and then all was well. It was nice to have family show up to distract her! So much for 1 year pictures. I was waiting for the OTHER bruise to go away before we got them taken! I swear my kids need helmets!

The Birthday Partaaay

Oh me, oh my! My little guy is four!!! I can't believe how fast time flies! He was just a tiny baby yesterday. Now he talks about the days when he was a little kid! Funny. I love when kids say stuff like that. When I asked him how old he was and he said "I'm four years old," all I could think about was "Bill Cosby Himself" and his "Jeffery" bit. Remember that? Anyway, we had so much fun at his party at Pump It Up, an indoor inflatable playground center. Kevin was super dad, playing with all those sweaty crazy kids! We had pizza, ice cream and cake! I still am not sure about him getting all those gifts! What happened to coloring books and puzzles? This kid SCORED! We also had a family dinner with all the grandparents and Uncle Ry and E and Aunt Bree! What a party weekend. Mom had fun but is glad it is over! Feew!

The Joys of Motherhood

Alright, I know we all us mothers experience this, and sadly for some it is on a daily basis! Spencer knows how to throw a serious tantrum, I generally do not deal with them very well either. I had a thought a while ago to video him in the act for two reasons. First to have him be able to see what he looks like, and second to keep me from over reacting. It totally helped me a ton! I couldn't stop laughing when I was recording it, and I think it was because I was looking at it from a different perspective. Spencer on the other hand was not as pleased. His tantrum actually changed course when I turned the camera on. He was more upset about the camera than what he was initially freaking out about, BUT I still feel like captured the general idea. He DID NOT like looking at himself! I told him every time he behaved that way I was going to record it. He has been roses and raspberries ever since! Mission accomplished? Well, I am sure it is a work in progress, but needless to say I have found a way to help myself stay calm which is probably beneficial to both of us!

Attention, Attention, Spencer Needs Attention!

When ever the camera is out Spencer needs a picture taken of him. Unless of course he is tired and standing in moistened undies! Anyway, he couldn't handle just Olivia getting her picture taken, so here are a few of his poses.

Suck It Up!

Miss Olivia learned how to drink out of a straw on Thursday! Once she figured it out she thought she was pretty fancy! I just have one question now. Do I have to share my Slurpees or do I let her have some so I can watch her get a brain freeze? You decide. If I share I may video it and post results!

For all of you who don't know my sister Lydia, she has a blog and is on my "Friends" list. Please go to her site and check out a youtube post she put up of my little Olivia. It is worth watching. Sometimes Olivia practices this at the back of the gym during sacrament. Needless to say, it is very distracting to others, and they can hardly pay attention. This girl is craazay!

Let Her Eat Cake

Oh my goodness, what a day! Miss Olivia turned one, and she already knows how to party. We had a little family get together with the Bailey's and the Nelson's. We ate yummy pork carnitas, helped Oli open her presents, but best of all we watched Olivia DESTROY her birthday cake! She needed no help to know what she needed to do. She just started plowing through like a track hoe (that's how Uncle E describes it)! We all got a good laugh and she got a belly, and lap, full of cake! All her cousins and Spencer weren't too happy about the ruined cake until they saw we had an extra one , and ice cream, for everyone else. We had a great day! Happy Birthday Olivia! You are such a big girl. Mommy, Daddy, and Spencer love you!!!
